Biography

Blake Little was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and graduated with a photography degree from Seattle’s Central College in 1982. After college, he moved to Los Angeles and photographed important members of LA’s art scene. His artist portrait series lead to commercial assignments in the entertainment industry.

A 1985 photo session with Tom Cruise was the start of more than twenty years photographing celebrated figures in entertainment, sports and politics. In 1989, American Photo magazine named Blake Little one of photography’s “New Faces.” He went on to collaborate with Mike Myers to create the photography for the first “Austin Powers” film and the corresponding Virgin Airline’s “Virgin Shaglantic” promotion.

Last year, Blake photographed the iconic images of Sacha Baron Cohen featured on the movie poster and campaign for the hit film Borat. Recent photographic subjects include Kiefer Sutherland, Julianne Moore, Steve Carell, Samuel Jackson, Mischa Barton, Gweneth Paltrow, Aaron Eckhart, Marcia Cross, Colin Powell and 50 Cent.

Blake creates imagery for the advertising world. His diverse clientele includes Pepsi, Samsung, Virgin Airways, Simon and Schuster, HBO, Warner Bros Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox.
