Parisian born Ludovic Belmonte wanted to be a photographer for as long as he can remember. At the age of 12, under the instruction of his art teacher, Ludovic went into the darkroom and began to develop a sense for light and composition. After high school, he studied at the prestigious Parisian institute, Louis Lumiere, where his passion for light grew.

At the end of his studies, Ludovic worked as an assistant in the Elle magazine studio- giving him the opportunity to work with some of the best fashion photographers of the 1990's. It was during this time that Ludovic realized he wanted complete control over his images. Although he loved fashion, he wanted the ability to control the light, composition, framing and color of his photos; thus leaving “no place for chance". Naturally, his career oriented toward still life-shooting luxury fashion accessories and cosmetics.

Currently exploding in the American market, Ludovic lives in both Paris and New York.
