Growing up in the farming Philippian village of Santiago, Cedric’s first exposure to travel and photography was through his father's collection of National Geographic magazines. He moved to California in his early teens to study photography and graduated from the Art Center College of Design in 1999. A year later, Photo District News (PDN) named him as one of the 30 Under 30 Young Photographers to Watch. PDN was right.

In addition to being a regular contributor to many of the worlds leading travel, lifestyle, and fashion magazines, Cedric also has truly beautiful personal projects. Milk and Blood is a magnificent collection of images of shepherds from around the world; Homesick is a collection of images from his homeland of the Philippines. These projects are not the sort of colorful and luxurious lifestyle photographs he’s known for editorially – they have more gritty, urgent reportage style, which keep Cedric sharp. They help him to approach the assignment work with a bit more edge, a dose of reality that only serves to add to the beauty.

Cedric’s body of work is incredible and continues to grow at a rapid pace. Oh, and his collection of passport stamps is pretty impressive too.
